New MBS Item Templates for your Clinical Software
With the new MBS item numbers which came in on 1 May, your health assessments templates will need amending. North East Valley Division of General Practice have a comprehensive list of templates available for download from their website.
Go to the NEVDGP Information Resources web page (Section 5: Health Assessments) for instructions and a list of available templates. For further information or assistance, contact CVGPN staff.
New version of PEN CAT released
PEN Computer Systems has released Version 2.9 of their Clinical Audit Tool (CAT). This is a major update and includes some useful new features, including:
- The addition of Patient ID (as stored in the clinical database) to patient identification reports
- A timeline feature which allows comparison of data across previous extracts
- The new MBS item numbers and existing Asthma Cycle of Care item numbers have been included in Reports (only useful for those practices with Medical Director/Pracsoft 3)
- Atrial Fibrillation has been added to the Diseases tab in Reports.
To access this new version, click OK to install updates when you open the program from your desktop.
